Direct Install, from New Jersey's Clean Energy Program, is available for small to mid-sized commercial, industrial or local government buildings with a monthly peak electric demand below 150 kW. The program cuts energy costs by replacing lighting, HVAC and other outdated equipment with high efficiency alternatives. Participants pay only 30% of the total cost of the project. The remaining 70% is paid directly to the assigned contractor who handles everything from the free, no-obligation energy assessment to ordering and installing the equipment and processing the paperwork.
