An inspiring, dazzling evening took place at The Madison Hotel in Morristown on Monday, November 30 when 300 restaurateurs, vendors and friends gathered together to honor 2009 Gold Plate Award Winners, 2009 Humanitarian Award Winner & 2009 Restaurateur of the Year (From Left to right) with NJRA Chairman Jimmy Thornton of The Grand Summit Hotel, 2009 Gold Plate Award Winner Chester “Chip” Grabowski of The Harvest Restaurant Group-Trap Rock Restaurant & Brewery, Berkeley Heights; The Huntley Taverne & Roost Restaurant, Summit; 3 West Restaurant & Ciao Restaurant in Basking Ridge, Basking Ridge; Tabor Road Tavern & Grato Restaurant, Morris Plains; 2009 Humanitarian Award Winner Sister Jean Webster of Sister Jean’s Kitchen-Friends of Jean Webster, Atlantic City; 2009 Gold Plate & Restaurateur of the Year Richard Dorchak of Cloverleaf Tavern & Restaurant, Cladwell & 2009 Gold Plate Award Winner Tim McLoone of McLoone’s Restaurants-McLoone’s Rum Runner, Sea Bright; McLoone’s Pier House, Long Branch, McLoone’s at Favorites, Fords, Tim McLoone’s Supper Club & Salt Water Beach Café, Asbury Park.
